HAVE YOU BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH OVARIAN CANCER AFTER USING THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS:

JOHNSON & JOHNSON BABY POWDER
JOHNSON & JOHNSON TALC
SHOWER to SHOWER

For years Johnson & Johnson has promoted it's Baby Powder and Shower to Shower as a safe feminine hygiene product. These products are used to absorb moisture and prevent rashes. However studies have shown that women that use these products are at an increased risk for developing ovarian cancer

Talc is a silicate that has been studied in relation to cancer risk. Several studies has found a link between perineal talc powder and epithelial ovarian cancer.

When talcum powder products are used in the vaginal area, they can travel through the Fallopian tubes to the ovaries, causing irritation that could lead to ovarian cancer. Some health experts have estimated that about 10% of ovarian cancer cases and deaths from the disease in the U.S. are caused by talcum powder products.

A 2016 study published by the American Center for Cancer Research which revealed a 40 percent increased risk of ovarian cancer among women who used the powder products on their genitals, compared to those who used the powder in non-genital areas, who saw the risk spike by 30 percent. African American women – the target of aggressive marketing campaigns by Johnson & Johnson in the 1990s – were especially at risk, researchers concluded.
